Our history

Intercorp Hotel Group was born in 1988 out of the desire to offer families a welcoming and relaxing holiday experience that would make them feel at home in their chosen destination. We started with three distinctive properties in Ibiza: Can Salia (formerly known as Marina Palace Prestige), Camelina Suites (previously Torrent Bay) and Marina Palace. Enjoying success with our concept from early on, by the end of the ‘90s our thriving, family-run business was ready to expand beyond the Balearic Islands.

Enjoying success with our concept from early on, by the end of the ‘90s our thriving, family-run business was ready to expand beyond the Balearic Islands.

Choosing unique locations and charismatic properties while respecting the local culture and heritage of each destination, we are proud that our brand continues to grow on an international scale. Expanding into the Canary Islands has given us the chance to enhance our year-round offering and welcome guests in desirable destinations 12 months of the year. While our mission and core values remain the same, we continue to learn from our past and are dedicated to consistently improving our services. As part of this, in 2021 we began an extensive refurbishment process to upgrade our hotels and apartments in Ibiza and Tenerife to the highest standard.
