September 21th, Ibiza celebrates the Tourist Day

As every year Ibiza celebrates the Tourist Day by all the high. The chosen date is the third Thursday of the month of September. For this, The council of each municipality carries out its own activities. Free boat excursions, tastings of typical products of the island, traditional dances or Open Day musseums. These are some of the things you can enjoy during this day. Uniquely and exclusively prepared and organized just for you, if you are on the island. Are you coming?

1- Free boat excursion to know the Ibiza coast

For two hours everyone who wishes can get on the boat and know the Ibiza coast. The boat trip is free and there are two shifts, one in the morning (12.00 h) and one in the afternoon (16.00 h), lasting 2 hours each. There are limited places. You should book in advance calling this number: 971343363

When you have a limit, it is necessary to book the tickets at the Tourist Office, located at Passeig de ses Fonts nº1. The tickets will be available to tourists, starting on Wednesday, September 13, every day, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

2- Typical products tasting and folklore ibicenco exhibition:

In front of the Tourist Office of San Antonio, there will be a sample of the culture and gastronomy of Ibiza.

From 19.30h: Tasting of products of the earth and, about 20.00h: Exhibition of typical dances.

In addition, coinciding with the Day of the Tourist, you can enjoy other activities.

  • Exhibition of Traditional Crafts in “ES MOLÍ D’EN SIMÓ“: Tuesday and Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Day of Sant Mateu d’Aubarca.
  • Exhibition of Painting in “SA PUNTA DES MOLÍ”: Exhibition of Carlos Genicio, from September 17 to 30, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
