As every year, on the third Thursday of September, this year on September 15th, Ibiza celebrates its Tourist Day
The purpose of this celebration is to honour the tourists that choose the island of Ibiza as a holiday destination each year, with a special mention for those that have been doing so for over 30 years.
I’m still young but I’m sure one day I will receive that special mention because I know I will return to Ibiza every year for the rest of my life, or at least that’s what I like to think.
Each municipality of the island (San Juan, San Antonio, Santa Eulalia, Ibiza and San Jose), organizes today, the 15th of September, different activities related to music, typical products, dance, crafts, sports and culture, all in celebration of the tourist.
It is also a good opportunity to visit the museums of the island, since they all celebrate an open day, because, yes, Ibiza is not just beaches and nightclubs, it is much more.
