Skiing in the French Alps

esquiando_alpes_francesesI would definitely recommend the French Alps to anyone who likes skiing, specifically the ski resort of Megève, bound to be loved by anyone with common sense, which transports you to another era, a fairy tale village where even the smallest details are beautifully taken care of.

There is nothing better than waking up and having breakfast at the Royal Rochebrune Hotel and knowing that the Rochebrune cable car is at just 50 metres to start a day full of fresh air, ski jumps, emotion, sport and fun and being able to choose between the 450 km of tracks available for skiing.

The truth is that I really love these tracks among trees, where, far away, the imposing MontBlanc observes you while you ski. Sometimes I stop to contemplate it, in awe of its maximum beauty, like a postcard in movement, white, serene and monumental.

At 4.810 metres tall, the MontBlanc is considered the birthplace of alpinism and is obviously the reference point in Europe for hiking, skiing and of course, snowboard.

For me, to ski in the French Alps is to live, to fly, to feel.
