During the summer season millions of tourists come to Ibiza to get the most out of the island in a few days, there are so many beautiful beaches that most of them only visit the ones that they find in tourist maps. The real magic of Ibiza, however, is to discover her secret places.
There are some other coves and nooks and crannies only visited by those that already know the island well or those who come to visit and have friends here and also by people like you that like to do some research on the Internet before travelling to learn about difficult to find and surprising places to visit.
I am like that as well, I take in all the information I can before reaching my holiday destination, And, thanks to that, I have discovered, with my family, some unique places in the world.
These are the secret places of Ibiza that have really surprised us and made us fall in love with the island.
Es Portitxol

Besides, don’t they say that the road is more important than the destination? Here you can enjoy both because it’s downhill so it’s not too hard to get there. Climbing up is slightly more tired but a little bit of exercise with your family or friends is also fun.
The cove is a beautiful inlet with crystal clear water where the blue, green and turquoise colours are mottled and dappled throughout the landscape. It is truly a wonder and it makes a deep impact when you get there for the first time. Its beauty and grandeur is such that photos don’t do it justice.
Undoubtedly, a MUST.
Ses Balandres

It is a perfect cove for snorkelling due to its inaccessibility and its location, in open sea, makes the waters completely transparent and full of marine flora and fauna.
Na Coloms or the cave of light

But the cave of light is … the cave of light. A large hole in the middle of the mountain, an open cave with the bluest water you’ve ever seen, since on one of the sides it has a small tunnel from which you can swim out to the sea and where light comes in from the bottom. Mind you, it is only apt for well trained adventurers.
These are my three favourite secret places of Ibiza. Now it’s up to you to choose whether you want to stay with the known and tourist Ibiza or with the magical and spectacular Ibiza.
